Scientists say yesterday, Jul. 4, was the hottest day ever recorded on Earth. High temperatures are searing the southern US and Mexico, China, North Africa and the Middle East. Even Antarctica is warmer than usual. To explain, the World’s host Marco Werman speaks to Paulo Ceppi, a climate scientist at Imperial College London.
