Canada faces triple-demic

Canadian hospitals are struggling to cope with a recent surge in respiratory viruses. Children’s hospitals have been especially hard-hit. In many parts of the country, parents are waiting with their kids up to 18 hours to see someone in an emergency ward. With RSV, the flu and COVID-19 hitting Canadians hard, Anita Elash reports from Toronto that many health care workers and hospital administrators have been predicting the crisis for a long time.
